Inari was “fixed” yesterday. She has a tiny incision, she’s not licking it obsessively and she’s been both cuddly and playful today, so I think she’s returning to normal.

We gave Inari a bath last night.  It is somewhat disillusioning to know that statistics say she will live longer than WoDM and I will be married.

Update: Yesterday I took Inari to the vet.  The vet says she is perfectly healthy - no yucky parasitic things inside or outside, no heart murmur, etc.  I thought she would hate me when we came home, she talked a lot in her carrier in the car, and tried to escape from me several times [...]
