Losers (Adult Themes)
Last night, as Michael and I are strolling through a mostly-closed mall towards our car, I note the long line of people (nerds, young professionals) waiting outside an Apple store.
I ask Michael why people are lined up, “are they giving out free blow jobs at the Apple store?”
Nope, he tells me. They’re lined up (14 hours in advance of opening) for the privilege of tossing a couple hundred hard-earned dollars at an i-phone.
“Oh,” I say, “I wouldn’t even wait fourteen hours for a free blow job.”
hahaha.
my iphone-dopes story: six months or so ago i was at the apple store and there was this guy there at the iphone counter talking loudly on his (not i-)phone to someone, saying “i’m totally getting one. it’s great, man–they won’t even check your credit!”
