No More Free Surfing @ Best Buy

Just a quick update…no sooner than a week after my previous post, which explained how to use a Best Buy in-store kiosk for general web surfing, the hole appears to have been closed. The logo on the Partsearch website is now no longer a link. I had no luck finding another way out of their site, but perhaps some astute reader will fare better. I think it’s amusing that such an obscure problem would have been fixed, especially since my readership is so low. I’m guessing that either lots of other people were already doing this, or I just happened to catch a momentary problem at the right time. Oh well.

Update: Apparently my post was actually found by somebody at Partsearch. Looks like they (and Best Buy) are really on their toes.
